The Oxbo 8140 Blueberry harvester was added to the Oxbo berry harvester line after extensive research and grower input. With a single drop fruit delivery system, the 8140 features a wide picking tunnel to accommodate larger plants, a 4-wheel drive platform to tackle tough, muddy field conditions, and longer catchers to handle wider berms. Meets engine emission tier requirements and global compliance standards in most major blueberry growing regions.    

The Oxbo 8140 single drop blueberry harvester gently conveys the fruit through a cleaning system to the back of the machine where it is placed into a lug or tote. 

A. The open harvester design provides the driver excellent visibility. LED lights improve visibility during night harvest.  

B. For wet and muddy field conditions, the 8140 is equipped with high-flotation tires and posi-traction to power the harvester through the toughest of conditions. 

C. Customizable shaking systems with Orbirotor or Dynarotor 

D.The wider throat allows the 8140 to handle larger berms and get lower on the plant to improve fruit retention.

Six inches wider than the 8040, the 8140 picks larger, more mature blueberry plants without compressing the plant.  The wider throat allows the 8140 to handle larger berms and get lower on the plant to improve fruit retention. 

Single drop fruit delivery minimizes fruit handling, delivering the highest quality blueberries. Optional guards reduce fruit rubbing. Adjustable fans create a fluid bed of air to effectively removing leaves and green fruit for high packout. 

The Oxbo 8040 can be equipped with optional SoftSurface kit to reduce fruit bruising, extending the shelf life of machine harvested fresh market blueberries.  

The patented SoftSurface kit is highly customizable and features SoftSurface catchers and other food safe, suspended SoftSurface components. 

The 8140 can power through difficult field conditions from the sand, to hills, to mud. Standard Posi-traction and high flotation tires for performance in mud or sand.  

The Orbirotor picking system has become synonymous with selective berry harvesting. The head weights create an orbital shaking pattern while the  rods remove ripe fruit with no plant damage.  

The Dynarotor uses an aggresive horizontal shaking action and stiffer fiberglass rods. A quick and easy stroke adjustment method allows for easy adjustment from early season selective harvest to late season clean up passes.
