Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on agricultural machinery, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, guiding operators and keeping records, ensuring the smooth running of the equipment and strengthening customer relations.
✔ Visit customers to draw up customized lists of parts and services required
✔ Monitor new product tests and collaborate with the engineering team, suggesting improvements whenever possible
✔ Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on agricultural machinery, strictly following the manufacturers’ procedures and specifications
✔ Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems in agricultural machinery and carry out the necessary repairs
✔ Replace damaged or worn parts, ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment
✔ Carrying out post-repair functional tests to guarantee the quality of the service provided
✔ Guiding operators on the best practices for using and maintaining the equipment
✔ Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs carried out on each machine
✔ Having excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team and, above all, to strengthen relationships and build customer loyalty
✔ Technical training, preferably with an emphasis on agricultural machinery
✔ Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience as an agricultural machinery technician
✔ Ability to read and interpret manuals, electrical and hydraulic diagrams
✔ Ability to use metrology instruments and interpret technical drawings
✔ Experience with repairs in the field
✔ Basic knowledge of services involving simple welding
✔ Experience with tools for organizing the work environment and optimizing time
✔ Solid knowledge of corn planting processes and coffee and corn harvesting, for monitoring products in the field and presenting solutions to the customer in a clear and objective manner
