This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining the company’s product costs while continually analyzing cost of goods manufactured. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory accuracy, accounting for fixed assets and tracking research and development costs. A strong understanding of cost accounting principles and attention detail is required.
✔ Responsible for managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
✔ Perform detailed analysis on inventory costs to assist in the development of standard costs and understanding of inventory variances
✔ Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses on cost of goods sold and inventory
✔ Maintain parts database in ERP system
✔ Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
✔ Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
