The Product Engineer leads the development and modification of mechanical projects, using 3D modeling software such as CREO and coordinating the BOM, guaranteeing the implementation of modifications on the production line. They are responsible for analyzing materials, technical specifications and communication between departments, with a focus on meeting customer needs and carrying out product validations, interacting with global teams to ensure excellence in design and quality.
✔ Develop mechanical designs using 3D software such as CREO, to create and modify models according to the needs of agricultural products
✔ Coordinate the Product Structure (BOM), organizing and updating the materials and components needed for production
✔Manage engineering changes, ensuring the correct implementation of product changes, coordinating with different departments
✔ Facilitating effective communication between all the departments involved, ensuring alignment and fluidity of information, and aligning the needs of production, quality and marketing in the development of new products
✔ Defining the specifications of materials and raw materials, choosing suitable materials for the manufacture of agricultural products
✔ Carrying out product life cycle analysis, evaluating performance and identifying improvements over time
✔ Overseeing product validation and field tests, with a focus on the customer, providing support to the validation team to ensure that products meet technical and functional requirements
✔ Preparing technical documentation and reports, keeping up-to-date records of tests, changes and product performance
✔ Actively collaborating with the Global Engineering team in the Fruit division, promoting solutions and innovations in a global development environment
✔ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
✔ Fluency in English will be considered a plus, facilitating interaction with international teams
✔ Solid knowledge of 3D modeling software, with an emphasis on CREO, for the creation and alteration of projects
✔Experience with 3D and 2D tools, focused on product alterations, coordination of the Structure (BOM) and full understanding of engineering change processes, including the follow-up of alteration documentation and implementation on production lines
✔ Proven experience in mechanical projects, with a focus on product innovations and improvements
✔ Knowledge of raw material specifications and materials for mechanical manufacturing, with a strong command of materials used in mechanical construction
✔ Skill in interpreting mechanical technical drawings, as well as applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) concepts
✔ Experience in quality tools, applying them to guarantee the performance and conformity of the final product
✔ Ability to prepare detailed reports, presentations and graphs, as well as carrying out activities related to the tasks performed
