An important point is the driver’s working environment and driving comfort. The machine is easy to operate, which is something that is appreciated by users of the other models as well. The hydraulic front axle suspension with automatic height control combined with the driving cab’s suspension provide for extremely comfortable driving behaviour. The toggle switch at the back of the joystick enables the driver to easily put the machine into crab steering mode. During driving all other functions are operated using physical buttons. All relevant information is displayed on the 12” touchscreen.

The design of the nose provides for the unobstructed view of the front and sides. The loading arm on the right side folds up so that it is not in the way while work is being performed. In addition, the machine has a tight turning radius. The hitch plate automatically turns into the driving direction. A unique feature of this machine is that it is possible to direct the manure spreader to the left or right side during crab steering. This is handy for working an asymmetric plot or for finishing up the headland. The engine’s cooler is equipped with a fan that sucks the air through the radiator. A radiator for cooling the hydraulic system and the gear box is mounted on the right in front of the rear wheel. All components are easily accessible for servicing and cleaning.

A Scania 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine is housed under the engine cover. The mechanical drive ensures that the available capacity is used efficiently. This translates into reduced fuel consumption similar to the three and five-wheelers. The machine makes use of the continuously variable ZF ECCOM 5.5 transmission. The oil pumps are mounted near the machine’s rear axle and are driven by the PTO drive shaft connected to the gear box. To save fuel it is possible to deactivate the oil pumps during road transport. In the field, all wheels are used to drive and steer the machine. During road transport the rear axle steering mechanism is deactivated above 25 km/hour. The four-wheeler can be equipped with different tyre sizes with options ranging from the highest 1000/65R32 tyre to the widest 1250/50R32 tyre.

Capacity starts off with short loading times. Installing the manure cutter directly below the suction arm creates a short suction line. The optional Superload arm makes loading even faster. The fuel tank’s volume is 850 litres. The AdBlue reservoir has a capacity of 60 litres. Weight distribution is optimised by means of the narrow polyester tank at the front, the engine’s position, the wheel base and the hitch system.
