Reducing nitrogen loss through injection

University studies show a direct correlation between the level incorporating manure, slurry, digestate into the soil and the amount of nitrogen and other nutrients available to crops.

AT5104 Applicator | Oxbo

While splash plate application is the simplest way to cover significant hectares, the nitrogen loss is significant due to the lowest level of incorporation into the soil.  Thus, minimizing the value of the manure and application.

Direct injecting manure/slurry/digestate into the soil provides the highest percentage of usable nutrients for the crop, increasing the value per application and reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers during the growing cycle.  Sustainability is also key to the industry and by injecting we are ensuring a better future for everyone by using the best technique.

Oxbo’s line of 3-, 4-, and 5-wheel nutrient applicators are designed to shine while injecting. Oxbo ATs allow you to cover up to 30% more hectares per hour injecting, while consuming 20% less fuel. And, of course, they can also easily handle other application techniques as well depending on the situation.
