We continue to believe in the value of mechanizing labor-intensive vineyard practices, and we’ve listened carefully to the market. We believe the future of our industry lies in next-generation automation. Progress requires significant time and investment, and we cannot see a clear path forward for the necessary investment into the current vMech Chariot platform. We think our efforts and resources are best invested in advancing our 6030 multi-function platform.
In addition, the current level of available vMech Chariot parts and service documentation does not meet our expectations for field support and makes it hard for our team to meet your expectations and to deliver on our brand promise of superior customer support. Therefore, we’ve made the strategic decision to discontinue the vMech Chariot trailer to allow us to focus on other priority vineyard projects. While difficult, we believe this decision best supports our commitment to innovation and customer service.
We currently have five vMech Chariot trailer platforms in our inventory that we are offering for sale at a significant discount, well below our cost, (no warranty) to help you access usable components and chassis. vMech parts will remain available, but we will not be stocking or forecasting vMech parts inventory, so going forward, you will likely experience longer lead times.
